PRESS RELEASE – “What does it mean to be in transit? For some, it’s about movement and destination. For others, it’s about presence, observing the moments that unfold in between. When interpreted by two accomplished Toronto photographers, the idea expands to include both the spaces we move through and the people who navigate them.

“Exploring the often-overlooked environments of the TTC, their work shifts between stillness and motion—at times capturing stations stripped bare of crowds, at others, full of life.

“These spaces transform into evolving scenes of concrete, light, shadow, and human experience. Viewers are invited to reconsider transit not only as infrastructure or architectural form, but as a stage, where movement, stillness, and the shared experience of city life converge.”
